Both our refineries are approved under the terms of the ABP Regulations to refine animal fats from Category 3 materials.
REACh
All Jarmac Group products are natural triglycerides without modification and as such are covered under annex V, section 9 and thus exempt from the REACh regulation in terms of Registration (Title II), Downstream User (Title V) and Evaluation (Title VI).

Quality
All Jarmac Group products are analysed using appropriate internationally recognised methods, ASTM International (formerly American Society for Testing and Materials), British Standard (BS), American Oil Chemist Society (AOCS) applicable to natural oils and fats in accordance with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
